Public beta

A receipt scanner that keeps the useful details.

Photograph a receipt on iPhone and get a structured draft with the merchant, date, total, taxes, discounts, categories, and individual items. You review it before it affects your records.

Public-beta software can contain bugs. Keep another copy of records you cannot afford to lose.

What the scan produces

  • Every readable line item
  • Taxes and adjustments kept separately
  • Warnings instead of confident guesses
  • A draft you control

Read once, then review

The image exists in memory for one request while the configured model reads it. SiftSum does not save the receipt photo. The result comes back as an editable draft, not a finished transaction.

Fields the model could not read stay blank. Ambiguous dates, totals, and line items are flagged so you know exactly where to look.

Keep products, not just merchants

A card statement can tell you where money went. A line-item ledger can tell you what you bought. SiftSum keeps products, quantities, categories, taxes, discounts, deposits, tips, and refunds attached to the original receipt record.

  • Search for a product across receipts
  • Separate taxes and discounts from purchased items
  • Merge duplicate merchant names without editing every receipt

Built for Canadian receipts

The receipt workflow understands CAD and USD records and keeps currencies separate. GST, QST, tips, deposits, and discounts remain explicit instead of disappearing inside one total.
